2019 CAMBO Membership

2019 CAMBO membership registration is completed and will be available starting October 1st!
For the past 15 years the cost of an adult membership has been $25. However, over the past 2-3 years our trail maintenance costs have gone up (I’m sure you’ve noticed the new and improved trails) so an increase is now necessary. Starting for 2019 the cost of an adult membership will be $30. The increase will go right back into building and maintaining our trails for everyone to enjoy.

Junior (18 and under) will continue to be $10 a year.

Registration for 2019 will open on October 1st. If you join on or after that, you’ll get the rest of 2018 included! If you already have a 2018 membership, don’t worry, you are good through December 31st.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.

Social ride tonight at 7!

We may have some rain to contend with later, but I’m planning to be out there early to get a few laps in and hope the rain holds off for the 7pm ride. Stay tuned, but be ready to ride, chat, and grill.

Membership required for access to the farm; helmets required to ride.

New Google Group for CAMBO!

In order to reach a wider audience with our trail work and ride posts, we’re starting a new Google group here:  https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/cambomtb.  We will still continue to post information here on the website, and in our Facebook group.  However, the Google group will be the main, centralized place for postings.

I’m trying to keep the group as troll and spam free as possible, so I’m setting it so you’ll need to request to join. I’ll approve requests as quickly as I can, keeping in mind I’m not at my laptop screen 24/7.  Once approved, you can set up how you’d like to get notifications.

Please let me know if you have questions, suggestions, or ideas for the forum. We are trying to make it as easy as possible to get information about CAMBO and related events.

Social ride tonight (12/14) at 7pm.

Yes! We will have a social ride tonight at 7pm at Burke Farm! Trails should be nice and crusty. Bring something for the grill after! This is a casual-pace ride with plenty of stops to regroup. You’ll need to be a member of CAMBO to be on the property, wear a helmet to ride, and have lights to see. See you there.

Thursday night social is on!

It’s gonna be a great night for mountain biking in the woods!  Charge up your lights, get your bike ready and come on out.  We roll out for the social ride at 7 pm. Show up earlier for extra laps at a faster pace if you want. We’ll light the grill post-ride around 8.  So bring something for that too.

You’ll need lights, must have a helmet, and be a CAMBO member to ride. See you on the trails.

Tuesday Night Skillz

The ride leaves the upper parking lot at 6pm tonight. You will need lights, helmet and CAMBO membership! This ride can be a brisk pace, but we still stop to collect people at turns so no one gets left behind. We will also make a run over to the expert side trails so we may behold the excellent work Matt Kesecker has been doing over there. (Thanks Matt!) See you tonight.
